Stolen from Central Library sidewalk, while 2 sheriffs stood at entrance to Library. Brazen theft. Sheriffs explained it is easy to cut a cable lock than jump on the nearby Max train for get-a-way. Also explained sidewalk is Portland PD jurisdiction, not county sheriff's.
