Distinguishing features
I'm here visiting our family here in the beautiful city of San Diego and don't want to have the theft of my 2002 Electra bicycle model Jester 7 (seven speed Nexus internal hub) , cable locked to carrier on my car, ruin the memory. I had the numbers (5098) scribed on the bottom of the pedal gear housing. The logo plate on the goose neck was badly warn from a basket carrier (no long used). It had a front springer suspension, (expensive gel seat cover) seat post carrier w/ a detachable black saddle bag carrier, a bulb horn on the handle bars, black foam hand grips w/ black foam raps down the length of the pull back handle bars and the rear fender was wired together to the broken fender brace. There is a - FREAK Factory - sticker on the front fender as well as two bullet hole sticker on the rear fender. Several various model Electra bikes where reported stolen in the same area around the same time. A home security camera caught three thieves in a white car the night one of the bikes was taken, possible the same people who is responsible for the theft of my beloved bike. There was three small plastic containers on the ground with a reddish residue in them found near a part from the bike. Not sure, but possibly used to defeat the lock??? Hopefully these thieves will be caught and all the bikes returned, I've family in the area who would be able to retrieve the bike & pay the reward $, when the bike is recovered.
