Description of incident
On July 21 at about 4:45 PM (or a few minutes thereafter) I was driving east on 700 S, between 400 W and 300 W when my bike rack fell off of my car. I saw my bike in the road and pulled over safely, and by the time I went back to get it the bike had been stolen. An eyewitness with me in the car says they saw a black Nissan box and blue sedan surround the bike before the Nissan did a u-turn and drive off in the other direction. I am thinking there may be security footage of the incident, either from the 700 S 300 W stop-light or from one of the shops on 700 S. There is an auto-museum and janitorial services shop right on the street there, but both were closed at the time. In addition, EVO bike rental shop may have footage of the black car driving in the other direction.
