Last night my two teenage kids ( both 15 y0) were robbed by two indigenous males carrying knives, a tall one about six feet tall wearing ripped red flannel shirt, with a red hat on backwards, fitted, carrying a medium length oval shaped jagged knife, about 10 inches long. The other was about 5"10, wearing a black Nike zippered sweater, also wearing a black fitted hat and carrying a red back pack, was carrying a machete. Both approached my kids around 12:30 am as they were riding home on their brand new black Jetson Pro-bolt e-bikes, (L × W × H): 118.1 cm x 49 cm x 96.7 cm (46.5 in. × 19.3 in. × 38.06 in.)Weight: 18.60 kg (41 lb.) Lithium-ion Max speed: up to 24.9 km/h (15.5 MPH) Max pedal assist range: 48.3 km (30 miles) Max throttle range: 24 km (15 miles) Dual feature pedal assist and twist throttle Motor type: Hub Motor: 350 W rear wheel Collapsible handlebar Wheel diameter: 35.6 cm (14 in.) Dual disc brakes. You can only get these at Costco. The males yelled at my kids to get off the bikes and they were scared so they gave them the bikes and the two males rode off on the bikes heading north on 135 street into the Woodcroft area. The kids called me and I called the police. Officer Mannes and another officer were at the home. We do not have the serial numbers of the bikes and so far as we know there were no witnesses.
