Distinguishing features
Bike frame is blue, with bright yellow on seat stay and fork. Not a terribly common model, so should be somewhat distinctive. There are a couple modifications: "bullhorn"-esque handlebars instead of flat ones, a black front tire splashguard, a grey water bottle holder, and a black pannier rack. At the time of the theft, it had a rare (and thus highly recognizable) off-white color "Atlanta Braves" baseball cap and a green top ABUS Ultra 410 U-Lock affixed to pannier rack.

Description of incident
Sunday evening at Reed College, end of Renn Fayre weekend festivities. We had been there all day with two bikes laying out on the front lawn next to us. Made the mistake of wandering too far away (~30 yards) while playing frisbee - didn't really consider the risk because there were students around. A thief had been casing the area, waiting for the right moment, and then ran off with my bike. It was getting dark but I got a brief glimpse of him(?) heading what seemed like east on Woodstock before disappearing. We drove around a bit to see if we could find it. But by that point, the guy was long gone and it was too dark to really see anything.
