Bike located outside apartment, chained up. I left for approx. 4 hours. When I came back, the locking mechanism for the chain was broken as if by bolt-cutters.The bicycle was a dark grey ("Granite") Marin San Rafael 19", it is worth over $500 dollars. The decal on the sides of the frame has been removed, it does read "Marin" elsewhere, however.
