The bicycle was parked in the CapMetro Bicycle Shelter located at Kramer Station on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at approximately 12:00 PM Central Time. This was a locked shelter, only accessible via a registered keycard, that claimed to have video surveillance, as posted signs indicate. Inside the shelter, the bike was chained using a U Bolt for the front tire and a cable for the back tire and frame. The bike was left overnight, chained up inside the locked shelter. When I returned to fetch the bike on the morning of Thursday, December 8, 2022, the bike was missing. On the ground where the bike had been parked laid the U Bolt lock and Cable lock, both had been destroyed by what appeared to be an angle grinder.
