My bicycle was stolen from the designated bike storage room in the basement of my apartment building between September 17th - September 24th. The cable securing the bike was cut cleanly, perhaps with bolt cutters. Many other bikes in the room appear to have been left untouched. This bike storage unit requires a key to gain access and knowledge that bikes are stored inside since there is no signage to alert someone that this room is meant for bike storage. The door to the storage room shows no signs of being forced open. I last used the bike on the afternoon of Sept 17th. I realized the bike was missing the afternoon of September 24th. The frame of the bike is a metallic blue with silver lettering. Attached to the bike was a Giant brand headlight and taillight combo (model type: Recon). The pedals are spd clip-in pedals (Brand: Crank Brothers, Model type: Candy 2). The handle bars are dropdown with black foam tape.
