Distinguishing features
The bicycle is a Cramerotti 'TVT Classic.' The bike is not drilled for brakes on the fork or the frame. The seat stays are curved. The size of the bicycle, 55x55 cm, is stamped on the bottom bracket shell. It is black with white painted panels on the drop and seat tubes with black lettering that spells 'Cramerotti,' in upper case semi-italic letters. On the top tube there is the following text in white: " TVT Classic" and a cursive signature closer to the seat that says: "Giuseppe Cramerotti." Text in white on the seat stays in serifed font: "www.cramerotti.com." The frame is made of 'Dedacciai' brand '12.5 Com' steel. There is a sticker that says so on the seat tube. The seat and top tubes of the frame are of about 1 and 1/4 inches in diameter and round. The drop tube has a distinctive elliptical/coffin shape that is uncommon in steel frames and is large (about 2 inch diameter on the long axis) in comparison to the other tubes. At the time of the theft the bicycle had drop handlebars, a white 'Specialized' brand seat and white 'Specialized' brand tires, and no toe clips on the pedals. The cranks are 'Miche' brand but are mismatched; the right (drive) side is older and has a 'All-City' brand chainring. The left side crank arm was newer and has a more lustrous gray, smooth finish. The seatpost was black. The headset was 'Specialized' brand.
