Description of incident
Roughly 7:52ish in the morning, I parked my bike in the bike rack near the Career Technical Education (CTE) building, which faces Gallaudet Drive and Stevenson Boulevard. I only connected the bike chain to the wheel and did not connect it to the frame since I was running late. I didn’t think someone would steal from a school & state property and there were other bikes that were also chained from the wheel. At 12:25 AM, the High School principal and a CTE staff informed me that my bike was stolen. After a quick check, the bike frame had been unscrewed from the front wheel and the frame & rear wheel were missing. The front wheel, cable lock, and my helmet were unharmed.
