This bike has been in the family for 40 years, I inherited this bike from my dad. I don't have the heart to tell him it was stolen from my home. It was taken from our building bike room in the South Loop area. We had just came back from vacationing this Sunday June 4th <-- our 1 year anniversary. My wife and I went out for dinner returned around 8pm. It was taken between May 26-June 4th. I love my bikes so I told her I would go check up them. When I went to the room I was shocked and in disbelief that it was gone. The bike was locked with a Kriptonite cable lock both wheels and frame. It was restored completely: New paint job, new Brooks saddle, brown bar tape, new continental sport tires, new MKS Sylvan pedals with leather toe clip straps. It was tuned up recently and the frame has minor scratches. I'm staying hopeful it turns up.
