Returned from a long hike to find my bike was stolen, but not my partner's, which was locked TO my bike with a U-lock. I can't exactly confirm whether this was how it was removed, but it would have been possible by unscrewing and adjusting the bike's stem, handlebars, and hood. There are professional bike pickers in this area, so I wouldn't put it past them.
This was in a high-traffic area at the boundary of Forest Park and the Willamette Heights neighborhood, so it's likely that this person was seen removing my bike from the two bike racks at the park (thanks for saying something on-lookers!). If you saw anything, please help!
