Description of incident
On January 16th between approximately 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM I was shopping at Grocery Outlet, 1800 E 8th St, Davis, CA 95616. I locked my bicycle with a chain and padlock. (I did not bring my heavy duty U-Lock, because I was only shopping for a few minutes.) When I returned to where I locked my Bicycle in the parking lot directly in front of Dollar Tree, I found my lock cut and my bicycle gone. My bicycle is a red Jamie Trilogy bike (https://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/BikeSpecs.aspx?year=2005&brand=Jamis &model=Trilogy). The price of this bicycle brand new is $2,000.00. I have had my bicycle for a couple of years and estimate its current value is about $1,000.00. I asked Grocery Outlet, Dollar tree, and Davis Cards and Games (all businesses that boarded the parking lot where my bicycle was stolen) but none of them have video footage of the parking lot/bicycle parking rack.
