Bike was locked to the back of a stolen but recovered 2012 black Acura TL with NM tags. The car was towed to Jody Wilkinson Acura at 3:00 pm. The bike was then stolen by 11:00 pm. Dealership never notified me the bike or car was not secure, in fact the dealership did not let me know the bike was stolen till the next day at 4:15 pm! The dealership took no responsibility, Christie the manager told me “if your bike was so important you should have come and got it.” My bike was secured with multiple locks and ties to prevent it from bouncing/swinging around. It was not easy or quick to remove. All locks, ties and the bike rack was damaged and/or stolen. It was reported by a person with Security footage next door that a man driving a silver four door sedan that was said to resemble an old VW Jetta stole my bike. My bike seat was missing because Acura employees removed it and put it in my car as they were concerned for my bikes safety per verbal report from the manager. My bike has a yellow/gold bell with a beer mug, red race face pedals, Maxxis tires, Fox shocks, black water cage, black hand grips. Bike is a size Medium. Bike was purchased in Colorado Springs at Bicycle Experience 1601 S. Tejon st CoS 80905 719-473-1015. Maybe there is a sticker on the bike from the shop? It was also serviced 7/23 at Storm Cycles in Park City, not sure if they put any type of sticker on it. The bike is well maintained and had upgrades. When my car was stolen ALL my outdoor gear for hiking, biking, paddle boarding, personal belongings, a great camera, cash, etc was also stolen. It would have been great if the tow company and Acura secured my car and bike, or at least let me know that my bike was not safe as I am not from the area.
