Bike was in the garage. We left to run an errand and thought we had shut the garage door, like we always do, but we must not have OR sometimes our cat runs through the garage opening right as the door is shutting which causes the sensors to cause the garage door to go back up, so that may be what happened. Nevertheless, the garage door was open and the thief got to the bike that way.
