I locked the bicycle frame/wheels to a Yakima brand roof rack atop of my 2005 Honda Element parked in front of the residence using a cable and u-lock. My other bicycle was locked to a separate Yakima roof rack atop of the vehicle beside the stolen bike in question. I checked both bikes at 11pm on 6/11/2021 before going to bed inside the residence. I'm visiting the area from Colorado and staying with a friend, who said the bikes would be safe if locked on top of my car. When I woke up the morning of 6/12/2021 ~8am and checked my car, the frame and rear wheel of the bike in question were gone — someone had evidently cut the cable used to attached the rear part of the bike but had not destroyed the u-lock securing the front wheel.
