stolen 2004 Trek 4900

My bike was stolen from right in front of the Paramount Theater between 4 and 5:30pm today while I was inside watching a movie. The thief cut through my cable lock and swiped my bike, leaving my wife's bike unlocked out in the open. (It remained there and is ok)I had a U-lock mounted on my frame but I didn't bother with it. It was just unbelievable to me that a bike could be stolen from a bustling part of downtown, just inches from northbound Congress Ave, in the middle of the day, right by the box office and a busy bus stop!Yes, I know, that was no excuse, and I was careless.
