Distinguishing features
The bike is a large-frame hardtail with a red, grey and black design. It has Rockshox forks with red lettering, the front tyre is Cube's own with again, red and grey design. The back wheel is a DT SWISS replacement in black with white lettering. The pedals are metal MTB pedals made by 'Stolen Bike Co' (the irony!), handlebar is black by Easton Monkey Bar. There is a 'pop-loc' feature for the suspension system with the trigger on the handlebar.  The saddle is black and a ladies fit with a quick-release mechanism on the seat post to raise or drop the saddle.  Tyres are grey and chunky, there's a bike bell on the left side and a black and blue torch-like light on the right. There's a bottle holder on the frame along with a mini pump clip and pump, if it's still there.  There are a few scratches and dings on the frame - a sign of a well-used and loved bike.

Description of incident
My bike was stolen from a home garage in daylight. Clear CCTV footage was captured including showing the youth's face and his accomplices in the background - some on bikes too. They came down off the Grand Union Canal towpath just outside Berkhamsted and one lad sneaked in to grab my bike while the others kept watch on the canal and road.  Young lad who actually took the bike was wearing a grey hood but could still see his face. Dark brown hair, stockily-built, about 5ft 6-9. The bike looked huge beside him. He wore dark grey jogging bottoms, a light grey hoodie with a blue hooded bodywarmer on top. He also had a small black backpack and wore white trainers. Looked approximately 14-17 years old.

Wheel
The front wheel was the original by Cube's own brand. It has a Schrader valve with a gold bullet-like dust cap. The back wheel was replaced with a black DT SWISS wheel with white lettering. It has a presta valve with a basic black dust cap.
