Vintage mountain bike w/ newly-installed Shimano front derailleur and crankset, Ergon BioKork cork ergonomic bicycle grips, SKS Bluemels mudguards, and Topeak Explorer Bike Rack (mounted on the back) w/ wire basket. The bike rack has decals of the flags of the five countries the bike has been: USA, Switzerland, Germany, France, and Canada. Of course, any of these distinguishing items could have been removed/altered by the thief so that it would be more difficult to be identified and easier to sell.

- Description of incident
-
I locked my bike to a rack outside of Lemonade restaurant in Yerba Buena Gardens (YBG) at about 9:20 pm. There are two racks; I used the one farther away from the street, and locked my bike next to two racing bikes. I saw a movie at the adjacent AMC Metreon theaters, and when I returned at about 11:20 pm, I found that my bike as well as the others were gone. There was nothing left attached to the rack or left on the ground nearby. I saw a YBG security guard and told him about the stolen bike, and he directed me to the YBG Security Office. There I spoke with Bob Brandyberry who provided the contact information of the San Francisco Police Department so I could file a report.
