In 4 years I lost two bikes to thieves, my Jamis was cut from a tree it was locked to less than 2 blocks from the Berkeley Police Station, (all the bike racks were full); and my Ralegh was stolen in Oakland chinatown, in broad daylight- they took the head off the parking meter, and sliped the U-lock up off the pipe. I'm piping mad and I won't take it any more. I am looking for partners to create a citizen's sting org in the East Bay.
