Bike photo
  • Serial: unknown
  • Manufacturer: Cannondale
  • Name: T700?
  • Model: CAAD2
  • Year: 1999
  • Primary colors: Purple

Distinguishing features

Looks exactly the same as in the photo except it now has a black cushy seat, chrome cranks, and an Arkel rack cantilevered from the seat. It can easily be identified by its crappy breaks that were meant for a mountain bike not a road bike.

Description of incident

My bike was stolen sometime between 2AM Friday (6/3) and 7:30AM this morning (6/7) from a locked garage on Harrison and MacArthur. I had it locked up in the community garage of my building. Looks exactly the same as in the photo except it now has a black cushy seat, chrome cranks, and an Arkel rack cantilevered from the seat. I should be getting video of the theft in a week or so.

Additional parts

  • Water Bottle Cage taped up due to being broken
  • Saddle Cushy Gel seal forgot manufacturer, whatever target sells
  • Seatpost Clamp brand new purchased last week, chrome
  • Seatpost Seatpost is too small for frame there is stuff shoved in there to allow the seat clamp to be secured to the post. chrome color.
  • Rack Arkel RANDONNEUR SEAT POST RACK

Drivetrain and brakes

  • Brake Mountain bike brakes back one works very poorly. This would be the easiest way to identify the bike. These brakes have no business being on this bike.
  • Crankset chrome cranks upgraded from photo. ()
  • Shift And Brake Lever two gears on left handlebar 7 gears on right. You need to hold shifter all the way to the left to access 7th gear. ()
