Marin “Limited Edition” Road bike (size M/L) 1993 Marin “Limited Edition” Road bike. Size is approx. 55cm, so good for a rider 5’9” to about 6’ (I’m 5’8” and it is just a touch too big for me). Freshly detailed and tuned up, it is ready to ride! This is a super robust road bike, built as an “endurance road” style rather than full on race. There is a bit more clearance for larger tires (Fresh 25mm Continental Gaterskins are on it now, but 28mm should be no problem). The frame is Tange double butted steel tubing, so it is lightweight but provides a supple ride. This is a “forever bike;” it will last a lifetime. It is built up with a full* Shimano 105 8-speed group. This can also be modernized to 10 speed with new shifters and a cassette, or 11 speed with a new rear wheel. The bar tape (handlebar wrap) is somewhat worn. It will get through this season but need replacing by next spring, for sure.
