I know better. Cable locks are not good. I used it because I didn't have a large enough U-Lock for 2 bikes. The bikes were cable locked to a bike rack outside The Lodge at SE 66th & Powell from around 6pm - 7:25pm on Tuesday, 5/3/16. The establishment has surveillance footage of the worthless reprobate using bolt cutters and riding off with my bike: possibly 28-40 yrs of age, darker complexion, possibly African American, medium build, about 5'10". I normally check on my bike vigilantly. I learned my lesson the hard way last night.
I wish I had better, personal pictures of my bike. These are obviously manufacture photos. Please envision my bike in all its glory with the rack and bags, and ready to roll. I really miss him.
