Distinguishing features
My bicycle was a vintage women's road bike, a small frame approx 45 ish cm , vintage shimano 600 parts. Drop handlebars were wrapped in faux-cork handlebar tape, with interrupter brakes which I had installed as well as traditional brakes on the drop part of the handlebars. The frame was totally spraypainted a light purple colour when I purchased it, no branding, no stickers, no serial number. The make is unknown but it is a high quality bike according to the mechanics who have serviced it. Steel double butted light weight frame. Shimano 600 derailer and gears (rare run of shimano parts made for women in the 80's or 90s) . Mavick wheel rims. Very beloved bike, modified by hand. If seen please contact.

Description of incident
My bike was u-locked with two u-locks to my husbands bicycle which was cable and u-locked to a sturdy wooden fence post on a secure apartment property. Someone either jumped the fence from the alley behind my building and cut the cable locking the bikes to the wooden post and took both bikes u locked together, or used a rope that I found at the scene of the crime with a hook on it, to hoist the bikes up towards the other side of the wooden wall/fence and snipped it that way. A cut cable and lock were found.
