Distinguishing features

Hello people: I have already gotten myself a replacement for this, so I don't want this bicycle back. If you have happened to receive it either because you found it, bought it from someone, or got it as a gift, I think the U-lock is still attached to the frame. I have keys (five of them!) for the U-lock so I want you to have them -- I have no use for them now. The U-lock needs occasional WD-40 as it gets stuck after rain and unlocking becomes difficult. Something about this Magna I found: 1. The wheels are very very out of true. You might want to just buy a new front wheel. The rear wheel is very tricky to reinstall if you ever get a flat tire. There was a tiny hole in the rear tire, which caused frequent flats. I plugged it with a small piece of rubber and superglue, it worked. 2. I have replaced both brake cables in December 2015, but the pads are now worn out, need to be replaced very soon. The front derailleur is dead. The rear derailleur is marginally working. The Grip Shift is broken. It is made of flimsy plastic, after all. It will cost $25 to replace both shifts at North Portland Bikeworks if you can work on them during the monthly Community Repair Night... or you can go to Bikefarm, pay $5 an hour plus parts. 3. Freewheel is not one of those cheap ones but I replaced it with a better quality one (thanks to North Portland Bikeworks!). I liked it. 4. It has a BikeIndex decal on. Contact me and I will get it off my account and to yours. It's free to sign up on BikeIndex. 5. The handlebars look a bit old-fashioned, but they are nice when you are riding uphills. Email me or DM on Twitter (links are on top of this page above the photo!) for your keys and to transfer Bikeindex registration. No questions asked, though I would appreciate a suggested contribution of anywhere between $20 and $100 for the expenses on my side and to recover the costs of recent maintenance. I don't think you had to pay much for that Magna, after all. (If you had to pay any more than $15 for that bike you were ripped off.) Thanks!
