Distinguishing features

The serial number is underneath the bike between the pedals. It is partially obscured by wires for the rear gear shift and brake, which is why I couldn't enter it into Bike Index. As you can see in the picture, there seems to be a number that starts "991" and ends "638". Please see the picture.
