I am the original owner of this bike. I got it mainly to use as a cheap commuter since it was on sale and I needed to exercise more. This bike started out life as a 3 speed urban commuter with an "off-brand" (Peak) twist shifter. I came into a 7 cog freewheel back rim and switched out the original 3 cog for the new 7 cog. It still uses the same 3speed twist shifter and I adjusted the range so I can use 5 of the 7 cogs until I can get a new shifter and/or derailleur. It came with only a linear style rear brake, so I added a Tektro side pull front brake from a BMX bike that works great. I also swapped out the original pedals for some red alloy Mountain bike type platform pedals that look and function much better. Got some Black Cog-N-Skull decals and put them on the Headset where the head badge would go and on the front side of the seat tube. You can see them in the photos.

- Side pull BMX front brake (black) installed since the bike did not come with a front brake, along with an Avid mini BMX brake lever (Black/Silver) 984 (brake) 316AG (Lever)
- Cog/Cassette/Freewheel
- The original freewheel had 3 cogs. I came across another freewheel that had 7 cogs and that is now what is on the bike. It, like the derailleur is an "off brand" carrying the name Superwinn. It is of Chinese origin.

- Placed lights on the front (white) and rear (red). Both have steady or flashing feature beams. Radian 350 bike light set

- Found an old black "ring-ring" type bell in a box of old parts and put it on.
