On the morning of Monday, October 29, 2018, I found my bicycle to be stolen at around 7:30 AM. My bicycle was securely stored and locked in a bike locker in the garage under the 3445 building at La Jolla International Gardens, the apartment complex where I live. This bike locker is secured by a locked door; only the leasing office gives out keys, so the perpetrator must have somehow gained access to the bike locker with a key or lock pick as the bike locker door was undamaged. The perpetrator then broke apart and warped the bike rack that my bike was locked onto with a U-lock, and then cut through a secondary cable I use to secure my bike to a different part of the bike rack. I parked my bike in the
bike locker on the evening Friday, October 26, and discovered it stolen on Monday.
