Stolen 2018-10-04T12:00:00-0500 from Salt Lake City, UT 84105, US
The only original parts are the frame and seat tube, everything else is a menagerie of newer parts from the early 2000s to 2015. It's a frankenbike to the core. Specs: Frame: Bear Valley SE (steel Tange Ultralight Custom tubeset) Fork: 2003-2005 Fox Vanilla R ~5inches travel (Ding on right stanchion that I had polished out) Wheel Front: 26" Sunrim Singletrack, XT hub Wheel Rear: 26" Ryno Lite Tires: Maxxis Brian Lopes Bling Bling Dual 2.35" width (I doubt there are many people still rocking a set of these) Brake Front: Hayes mechanical disc Brake rear: Alivio V-brake Stem: Azonic long aluminum Handlebars: Carbon Fiber Derailleur Rear - Rear only Sram 5.0 Derailleur Front - none, but the 3 rings are still there Crank: Truvativ?
The bike was locked up to two other bikes in my backyard, both gates to the backyard were locked. They cut the padlock on the gate and then the 3/8 braided steel cable bike lock cable. I had a Ulock on the cable as well which is intact. They only took my old 1995 Marin (with the Tange ultralight custom tubeset) for whatever reason. It's not worth a whole lot, but has sentimental value. All the parts but the seattube are frankensteined from newer bikes. I don't have proof of ownership unfortunately, so hopefully my knowledge of its weirdness is enough.
