Description of incident

I was with my Mom on a leisure ride. She was in from NY, I'm a local. Couldn't find my lock so I just relied on the one we rented. Had NO idea people were swiping bikes on Main Street in broad daylight in a very buys area. Obviously I was wrong. Mom and I went for a quick snack at the Galley around 3 P.M. Walked out at 4 P.M. to find the bike gone. Still in shock. :-) Called the police right away and they came by my apt. around 8:30 P.M. to fill out a report. I also left my number with a young lady who lives behind the Gold's Gym where I was told lots of these stolen bikes end up. I don't expect any magic here, but here's to hoping!
