Distinguishing features
Bike has chrome "flat" handlebars that curve up on the sides. There was a light holder attached to the handlebars on the left side. There was a detachable rear fender and no rear reflector. Shifters are on the top of the frame near the handlebars behind the headset.

Description of incident
Bike was parked in a bike rack inside a locked courtyard behind my apartment building. Either someone left the gate open, or the thief was a tenant's friend or knew the gate code.
