Description of incident

While visiting the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, June 16, 2018 between the hours of 1:15pm and 4pm, my Nishiki Men's Anasazi Hybrid Bike was stolen from in front of the Zoo’s temporary East public entrance area. The value of my bike is $580.
My bike 20" XL frame color is black with white lettering and red highlight markings on the frame. My wheels are black with rear/front disc brakes. It also
has a water bottle carrier. I had it locked on the right side of the East public entrance walkway where it meets the street. Someone cut my lock cable.
I noticed there is a Zoo surveillance camera pointing at the East entrance-way and I’ve requested that the video footage be reviewed to see if the theft and person involved can be seen. In addition, I've requested pawnshops in the area be contacted.
