Stolen 2018-02-20T00:00:00-0600 from Oakland, CA 94618, US
The color is bluish purple. The bike has horizontal scratching at the top of the seat tube in the inner (front) half of the seat tube, as if lightly sanded, partially obscuring the Bianchi logo (this is from the U-lock clip rubbing and adjusting against the seat tube over the years). The bike has drop bars with brake handle paddle shifters. I replaced the standard purple/black carbon fork with an all-black steel fork about two years ago due to the fork getting disconnected from the handle bars internally. The handle bars are Ritchey brand. At the time of the theft, I had a suspension attachment within the seat tube, I believe the brand was Satori. The bike has an FSA Pro Road S9/C10 42t Triple Middle Chainring in black color, and the cassette is a SRAM PG-970 9-Speed Cassette 11/32. Please note that the photos here are from before I replaced the adjustable angled quill stem with a more normal right-angle stem.
Bike was stolen outside Judoku sushi on College Avenue Tuesday night around 6:30. Thief cut the tree stays and li ed the bike over the vertical wooden pole the bike was locked to. Employee of Rockridge Two Wheels (next door) confronted thief but thief rode away claiming it was his bike. I got a very good look at the thief, and could identify his face. Male in his 20's, about 6 feet tall. The bike has horizontal scratches at the top of the seat tube in the inner (front) half of the tube, as if lightly sanded, partially obscuring the Bianchi logo. Frame size is 52cm.
