Distinguishing features
I built this bike at a co-op in college so the frame is the only original component and the rest of it is fairly distinctive:
• Cross-top brake levers (without additional standard drop-bar levers)
• California flag pattern Specialized S-Wrap handle bar tape
• Two chain rings but no front derailleur/cable/shift lever so only the rear gears are functional
• Super janky kickstand
• Hard to figure out the exact model but it has "PH8CE" written on the bottom bracket serial tag so I presume that's it.
• Serial numbers: Y0 6 32336 stamped into the rear dropout; 0875450 PH8CE 60 typed onto paper tag attached to bottom bracket
• Either an '80 or an '81 from what I can tell. I'd call the color "metallic teal" or "electric blue."
• Checkered pattern, black and orange lion, and "Record Du Monde" logo on the seat tube; orange "Peugeot" on the down tube, silver Peugeot lion logo on the head tube, as well as a "City of Oberlin, Ohio Bicycle License" decal on the seat tube
• There's a bolt on the right side of the fork that a shop once told me was meant for a headlight mount and means my bike is originally European.
