My fiancé saw individuals with the bike this morning from around 8:15 - 9:30 on 9/9 and the police did not arrive in time to apprehend them. He followed them for approx an hour. This has been reported to the police. Three individuals were with the bike. One male White - clean cut, white hat, maybe 40s, slight potbelly, stockier, one male Black - skinny, maybe 5'11, 20/30s, more disheveled, one male Hispanic, homeless, thin, 20/30s.
Items to help Describe Bike:
-Has special pedals that can be used to either clip in shoes or you can flip them over and use them as regular pedals. Pedals are black.
-Fork has a slight crack in it.
-Tape at top of bike on handles connecting the bike grips is starting to SLIGHTLY peel. I know exactly what it looks like.
Bike was stolen between 10:30 pm on 9/7 and 7 am on 9/8. Bike was in a secure garage, chained to assigned wall spot as determined by apartment complex. Chain on wall securing bike to mount was cut with bolt cutters. Apartment complex has been informed and PD is following up to see if there is video tape of the incident. Officer Michel took my report.
