Old 1993 SCOTT Chenango mountain bike repurposed into a grocery hauling mule - frame & fork modified to accept disc brakes. Paint on frame & fork is the stock slightly metallic teal fade to a similar green - w/ areas that the paint has been sanded away to have the disc mounts brazed on. All areas that were sanded & brazed have been clear-coated. There are a few small silver touch-up paint spots, including one on the front of seat tube right above the bottle mount & right, rear dropout where the frame has been re-welded / repaired. Seat tube (center to top) = 21.5". Top tube (center to center) = 23".

Vintage SHIMANO XT M730 triple crankset w/ 175mm arms - but w/ only a single chainring & Metropolis chainring guard. No derailleurs! Just a SURLY Singleator chain tensioner in black. TRP long pull levers in black. TRP Spyke cable / mechanical disc brakes. Blue Jcolored JAGWIRE cable housing. Front wheel is a SHIMANO XT dynamo hub (black) laced to a 32 hole SUN / RINGLÉ CR18 aluminum rim (polished / chrome silver). Rear is a 36 hole CR18 rim in natural silver aluminum laced to a SHIMANO Alfine 8-spd IGH hub. Tires are SCHWALBE Big Ben 26x2.15" in all black. w/ reflective stripes. Accessories include: Huge WALD front basket (black), SUPERNOVA E3 dynamo headlamp (Gray ano) mounted under basket on left side. JANDD aluminum rear rack (black), PLETSCHER two-leg center stand (silver), custom made steering stabilizer clamped to down tube w/ spring running up to back of fork crown, PLANET BIKE plastic fender set (black). Rear fender uses the reflective middle “tree” section of an official Oregon automobile license plate w/ a B&M Secula dynamo tail lamp. Has super long custom rubber mud flaps that almost touch the ground (rear flappy has red reflective tape), a TREK & a BONTRAGER bottle cage, both in black, silver dinger bell on right handlebar, big zippered saddle bag (black) attached to BROOKS saddle & supported by custom made wire bag support off seatpost, plaid saddle rain cover. Wheels secured w/ HEXLOX anti-theft hardware. Has a BURLEY trailer hitch on left rear. What can I say... I like to tow junk around. :)
