If I can recall the exact date I purchased the Bianchi Nirone 7 from Coco's Variety Bikes sometime in May of 2014(or just before mothers day). I was told by the shop owner that the model, color(celeste green) and frame size (59")are all very Unique and only 2 of a kind I believe to be in the country. I'm 6'4" so this ride was perfect. It was my buddy. It was my livelyhood. And I want it back. This was my upgrade after riding a Trek Hybrid I'd purchased in 2008 from a reputable bicycle shop on Lincoln Blvd near Venice, that had sold me a bike they sized me up for that I years later discovered was inches too small for my height....or maybe I grew some inches from my yoga sessions. Anyways... I brought the Trek into Coco's one day, Peter the shop owner recommended that I give the Bianchi a whirl about, the next thing ya know I'm trading in the Trek, gave them another few hundred dollars and came back 2 weeks later to pay the remaining balance. I go every where on that bike. On the train. To and from work. To Santa Barbara, to the Bay ....To San Diego...and throughout L.A. everywhere. It's been almost a week...and no call back from detectives, nor the bike patrol. I'm pissed, sad and I have message for the two young black brothas who plotted, schemed and rode off with my bike only to leave a clunky ducked-tapped seated hooptie: "DUDES you guys would be better off just dropping off the bicycle in front of the LAPD central and walking away...you clearly were out of your mind to just take my ride like that ...why dont'cha get a job like everybody else and earn what you want. I'm starting to get pissed off which is really hard to do"

Description of incident
At around 6:10 or so, 11.5.2014 last Wednesday, a buddy & I met-up @ 7th Street Metro Station and walked over to The Daily Grill Restaurant on 6th @ Flower. We choose to eat/drink @ the Daily Grill because there was a U-stall bicycle post just outside the resturant seating and appeared to be in clear view of the camera overhead. After entering the restaurant, we found seats as closest to view the bicycle as we could. After ordering our drinks, I first noticed a guy who had walked up the U-stall and pull out his ulock to appear as if he were locking up his bicycle next to mine. I was suspicious but hesitated. As he appeared to be having an issue installing his ulock is when I ran out the door of the restaurant, but it was too late as he had already cut the cable and jumped on my bike heading Souteast on FLower street. There was an accomplice on another bicycle near by who was holding onto the bike that was left behind. My buddy went after the other guy....I stayed with the bike before thinking to go into th restaurant to ask them to call the police and allow me to view the cameras. The Daily Grill waitress claimed that their cameras in house were not working cameras but the ones outside were owned by The Peagus building. I then ran over to the security desk of the Peagus of where I was able to view the entire operation on video camera. Several minutes afterwards all the bicycle patrol guys show up(6 of em) only to reinterate that just across the street were bicycle racks of which high theft occurs often. I made the statement of "Great to know this...so how come you guys weren't patrolling this block???!" The LAPD finally showed up I made a report. They took the bike that was left behind and the other had taken off when I went to inquire about the camera footage.
