Background from the guy I bought it from: "Frame and fork was unmarked (stripped and primed) when I got it, so I'm not sure the make. The frame was updated (brake bosses and cable guides, etc. added) and painted by a local builder Vanilla Bikes." The guys at Vanilla bikes assume it's a 70's French frame of good quality. We think it might be a Motobecane, but really don't know for sure.
