2014 Xtracycle Edgerunner 27D Lux - freight/electric

This Xtracycle is a fully decked-out EdgeRunner 27D Lux freight model. Its original equipment includes a (locking but removable) Bionx battery that powers an electric motor in the hub of the rear wheel. The power assist and bicycle computer functions are controlled by a (removable) console mounted above the handlebars. On the “longtail” are the Xtracycle cargo frame with two large black X2 model cargo bags (and U-tubes providing support below). Other original equipment includes Shimano Deore drive train and front and rear hydraulic disc brakes. Also has the Xtracycle spring-loaded double "relax / kickback" kickstand and front and rear fenders. I have added Ultralights brand reflective tape in several places, including “stealth” reflective tape (which looks black but reflects white) below the handlebar stem, red-reflective tape on the rear of the flight deck and cargo frame, and a long strip of reflective silver cloth tape on the (removable) rain flaps or lids for the cargo bags. I love this bicycle in a way that I have not loved any other material possession in years or decades. It is my sole means of transportation and essential to my life and lifestyle.
