Both bikes were extremely secure, protected by 4 layers of security. A thief would have needed an angle grinder to steal them, as two "sold secure diamond" bike locks secured the bikes to a solid metal cage. A digital badge is required to enter the bike room. A camera positioned near the ceiling appears to provide a full view of the room. Metal cages and brackets drilled into the concrete secure the locks to the bikes.
