I am the original owner of this circa 88' Schwinn Essence. I converted it with help from my bike shop in Coos Bay a couple of years ago to a single speed. It has drops now, an original Ubrake on the back I disabled. Original locking tabs on the front fork for safety, rack mounts and a lot of spacers on the back to make a recent wheel addition work. The crank is original and is Exage from the biopace set-up. They are a length of 175 and marked as being made in Japan.
