Distinguishing features
When we introduced our first cyclocross bike to America in 1986, few riders were even into cyclocross racing. Despite that, it didn't take long for cycling enthusiasts to figure out what our new Volpe excelled at; everything! Long distance road rides. Gravel road excursions. City commuting. Loaded touring. Rail trail adventures. Neighborhood errands. The Volpe checks off all the boxes! Short of criterium racing and technical single track, the Volpe handles all types of riding efficiently and comfortably. The Volpe melds the responsive handling of a road bike with the durability of a mountain bike. A variety of surfaces and conditions can be conquered thanks to greater tire clearance and grime-shedding cantilever brakes. Our exclusive Chromolite frame and steel fork provide a smooth ride and the strength to carry whatever supplies your adventure calls for. With eyelets for front and rear racks and a set of fenders, the Volpe is one of the most versatile models we offer. Frame: Bianchi Cr-Mo, triple butted main tubes, tig welded..

Description of incident
Sometime between 5PM on 10/4/2014 and 9AM on 10/5/2014 the U lock was cut and the bike was stolen. A police report was filed immediately. The bike's most distinctive features are as follows: - metallic blue paint, white lettering - knobbly Kendra tires - large wheel sensor for computer on the fork (right side, I think?) - dual brake levers; all four are silver in color - black/metal SPD-compliant pedals, well worn - black Mongoose seat with wear/tear holes in it such that the beige foam inside is visible - computer mount awkwardly connected to the middle of the stem via a U lock mount

Saddle
Mongoose mountain bike seat. Faux leather texture with wear/tear holes such that the foam interior is visible on the back right side of the saddle.
Seatpost
Black, well worn, tape residue on the lower exposed portion.
Computer
Mount for computer and wheel sensor only. The mount is black plastic with two electrical contacts and is mounted to the center of the stem via the holder for a U-lock. It sticks up awkwardly in a loop because of how it's mounted. The sensor's zip connector has not been trimmed but rather was folded back on itself and tucked away. The wire to the mount is held in place with black wire (24 AWG) at 2 or 3 points. I believe it is located on the right side of the fork, but do not remember clearly.
U Lock Mount
Mounted to the underside of the stem, and the computer mount is mounted to it. The most distinctive feature of the mount is the bright yellow lock release tab.
