Chain stays have painted signature "Arni Nashbar" (mostly chipped off on one side). Shimano Altus A20 front derailleur and crankset, Araya 26" wheels, Araya rims. http://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=1993&Brand=Nashbar&Model=3000X&Type=bike Quill-type stem has empty hole for original center-pull cantilever brakes. Brakes replaced front and back with AVID 5 V-brakes and AVID 5 levers. Rear brake cable housing attached to top tube with nylon cable ties. This all-enclosed rear brake cable is pretty distinctive for a bike of this age. Flat handlebars with bell, front light mount, and "E3 Cycling" bike computer attached. Mountain Mirrcyle brand rear-view mirror attached to end of left handlebar. Black cargo rack in back, with two Novara brand grocery-bag panniers attached (black with red straps to secure cargo). Reflective tape added to frame (head tube, front forks, seat tube) and pedal cranks.
