Description of incident
Parked in front of the local taqueria, with my bike still on the rack. I know this neighborhood well, and it was on a busy street where it’s hard for people to stop, and I was just going to run in and out. I ran in and kept staring at my bike like a hawk (which was just outside, maybe 5-10 feet away) while waiting for my burrito. Sure enough a white van stopped right next to my bike and two guys jumped out. I of course ran up, but was blocked by one of them. I got their license plate as they sped off down the hill.
