Description of incident
At 7:30 AM on October 22, 2024, I parked the 2008 Jamis Aurora bicycle in the bicycle racks near the Valmont Disc Golf Course at Valmont City Park. The bicycle racks are on airport road, just south of the intersection of Valmont Road and Airport Road. Using google maps, I estimate their location to be: 4001'42.6"N 10514'05.2"W. I used a bicycle lock (cable with 4 digit combination lock) to secure the Jamis Aurora bicycle and a friend's bicycle to the bicycle rack. The cable secured the main triangle of each bicycle's frame to the bicycle rack. None of the bicycle wheels were secured by the lock. When we returned to the bicycle racks at 9AM October 22, 2024, both bicycles and the lock were gone. The bicycle frame has two colors: creamy white and copper
