Description of incident
My bike was on my bike rack on my car when the bike was stolen. The bike was locked to the rack via two ways. 1) The rack has an integrated lock in the "hook" that is pressed down onto the top tube of the bike for securement (I had secured and locked that). 2) I had a cable lock running through the frame and front wheel and around the bike rack. The two ends were locked together with a Master pad lock. The wheel cradles on the rack each have an integrated strap that helps to secure each wheel. I also had a couple of ratchet straps helping to secure the bike to the rack as I had been traveling with my bike. The thief/thieves cut the cable lock, both ratchet straps and both of the wheel straps and were able to then remove the bike from the rack. Of note: the incident occurred between 1:00am and 9:00am on Sunday 10/06/2024
