Description of incident
My son was using the bike to get to the gym (24 Hour Fitness, Pasadena at 525 E Colorado Blvd) late Sunday evening (6/15/2014 between 10pm and midnight). Instead of using the sidewalk bike lock area near the entrance, he chose a spot closer to the doors that he thought was more concealed (which likely helped conceal the thief as well). He returned to find the bike gone and the cut cable on the ground. The gym had no cameras in the location, but I will check with other nearby businesses.
