I locked my bike to a parking sign pole on the corner of Franklin and Lexington Ave. I usually never lock my bike out there, but I rode home with a friend Thursday night and he thought it was ok. The next morning, the bikes were still there, unharmed, everything seemed OK. I've seen other bikes locked outside in this area before. It rained Friday and I thought it would be OK to leave it for another night until I rode to work this Saturday morning. I walk outside and my bike was gone. Its white with black writing, has a thick body with hybrid-looking wheels. I'm really sad and disappointed. About 10 seconds after I saw my bike was stolen, I saw a young woman get hit by a car while riding. She seemed ok, but really, what are the chances?!? Sort of thinking the chances of getting this bike back are slim to none.
