Distinguishing features

Originally owned by a lady in Germany who moved to Lawton, OK, USA. She had the bike stored in a shed for years and years and eventually moved back to Germany. Her daughter was still in Oklahoma and put it up on Facebook Marketplace, where I found it, bought it and drove it to my home in Dallas, TX. I changed the seat out, got it serviced and cleaned, and I use it for work commutes when I don't feel like driving, and just general fun on trails and in the city. It's in great shape, it's comfortable, and it's the perfect example of a well-made dutch bicycle ready to tackle any commute. When I brought it to get serviced, people at the bike shop not only recognized it, but got excited about it! They had questions about where I found it, its story of how it got here, and what I plan to do with it. The idea of riding something so rare for my area is really cool; feels pretty exclusive. But I would much prefer bikes like these to become regular sights in Dallas in the future. They're wonderful, and I think people deserve to experience the comfort a bike like this can offer.
