Distinguishing features

One of two bikes given to me for free in Boy Scouts. It has since become my mom's bike and she stored it outside, fading the paint on one side along with other damage. I have since done a complete teardown and rebuild of the bike to learn as much as possible and give her a nice bike with a $0 budget. I have about $100 in it, including all of the accessories (sourced from eBay and FB lots and scrapyard parts bikes) and U-Lock.

Wheels

  • Hub rear 01 94 (KJ)
  • Tire 26x1.75, will replace with wider along with rims K53 (Kenda)
  • Rim both bent, front missing one spoke, looking to replace SUN METAL PROD. INC. 12-93 ("INC 2 94" on front) High Performance Rims (Roadmaster)
  • Hub front, W.Germany 263 (Union)

Additional parts

  • Bell/Noisemaker cheap bell with mandala sticker
  • Kickstand pretty loose, will probably replace (Wald)
  • Lights cheap feeling plastic, do not recommend Urban Combo (Diamondback)
  • Saddle grey from a differant bike, stapled bake together and has a foam Bikemate seat cover
  • Water Bottle Cage doesn't actually say Sunlite (Sunlite)
  • Handlebar from Lectric XP Lite. Original bars had no rise and little sweep, might replace with more sweep (Lectric eBikes)
  • Basket white front basket w/ handmade brackets made of galvanized duct hanger and large zip ties. Should add a bracket to the button, probably attached to the brakes, but I don't have the fab skills. Has the tree kanji and stone numbers on the bottom pa
  • Rack rear, chrome, no markings, attached to seatpost with diy bracket not made by me, looking to replace. Might have to drill into the seat stay to have an actual mount though

Drivetrain and brakes

  • Brake Lever cheap Lee-Chi nylon levers
  • Derailleur RD-TY15SS (Shimano)
  • Pedals cheap, will replace when they inevitably break Type 659 (Union)
  • Cog/Cassette/Freewheel 14-28t 5 speed freewheel MF-015 (Shimano)
  • Brake Cheap stamped side pulls, looking to replace along with fork (Lee-Chi)
